They follow a very simple approach: sell cars. The whole redesign did a great job at accomplishing that task. Beside that "little" loading issues it's a strong move to go for such a clear tasks focus on the homepage.
There are many innovative user enganging features like the consitent visual look & feel, the 3d car configurator and of course the deep linking, allowing people to link directly to certain aspects of the site. The whole site was built with Adobe Flex. Yeah!

Interesting to see some similarities with the US site which was created by the lovely folks at CP+B. The question is, when they will follow in Germany?
